Validation of ESCAPE Exposure EstimateS using Personal exposure Assessment
This study about the personal exposure to air pollution is organized by CREAL (Barcelona, Spain), IRAS (Utrecht, the Netherlands) and THL (Kuopio, Finland). On this website the project will be explained in more detail.
For this project, non-smoking volunteers are asked to do personal exposure measurements. For two weeks in a row, from Monday to Friday morning, volunteers will carry a backpack with equipment to measure the air quality. During the measurements, a time activity pattern is followed. Simultaneously, indoor and outdoor measurements are will be done at the home addresses.
In total, every volunteer will participate in three measurement periods (each two weeks) during 3 different seasons. For the completion of this project, 300 euro's will be granted.
